Well Care
Newborns
We see babies often during the first few years of life to monitor growth and development, review safety issues, and keep immunizations current. Our initial examination happening 2-3 days after discharge. Most babies need additional weight checks during the first few weeks of life to be sure weight gain is appropriate. After the first few weeks, we'll have routine well checks that coincide with immunization visits.
Well Visit Schedule
These visits occur at 3-5 days of life, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, and then yearly.
Your Family's Medical 'Home'
We believe in the patient centered medical home model of care that emphasizes care coordination and communication. All children deserve a medical home - a place where their care is accessible, family-centered, continuous, comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective.
Health Forms
Schools, day-cares, scouting, athletics, and other organizations often require health forms to be completed prior to participation. Kansas state law requires all high school and middle school athletes to have a sports physical after May 1st and before the sport season begins. Please plan accordingly if you have a teen in sports. Insurance only allows one well visit per year!

Services We Offer
We cover all of your child's basic and urgent care healthcare needs - well care, immunizations, and sickness during regular office hours, and urgent care services during evenings, weekends, and holidays too.
Sick Care
What To Do When Your Child Is Ill
When your child is sick, we know you need to be seen quickly. Sometimes you may not be sure if your child is sick enough for a trip to the doctor, so you should always feel comfortable calling us with questions. That's what we are here for!
We treat all general pediatric illnesses (fever, cough, rash, ear/nose/throat, tummy pain, etc.) We also treat minor injuries - bumps and bruises, nursemaid's elbow, minor lacerations in the office during regular hours and at our urgent care center after-hours and on weekends. Our Kids First Urgent Care saves you an expensive and inconvenient trip to the emergency room, or worse, to an urgent care clinic that is designed for adults with providers who do not know your child.
Ear Infections
Do you suspect your child has an ear infection?
