Taylor Smith, APRN CPNP

All About Taylor:


​​Taylor graduated from Bethel College with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She then spent 3 years as a staff nurse at Children’s Mercy in the Pediatric ICU and Cardiac ICU followed by 2 years at Stormont Vail in the Pediatric ICU and on the Pediatric floor. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree, specializing in pediatrics, from University of Missouri Kansas City. She is now a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care who is excited to provide care to children and families in the community. She also continues to work at the hospital as a bedside nurse and teach students in the Washburn Nursing program about pediatrics.

Taylor is currently married with a fur baby and is looking forward to starting a family soon. When she is not working, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends, coaching club volleyball, and being at the lake. Caring for and being around children has always brought Taylor the most joy. She is excited to get out of the hospital setting and be able to get to know her patients and their families. Taylor looks forward to caring for your children through the many phases and seasons of childhood. She is passionate about providing quality, family centered care to the community through her past work experiences and education.
